Movie Info
An adaptation of the critically acclaimed "A Not So Marvel-ous History", by Jaden Nicita. Tag along with comicbook legend Jack Kirby through his tragic and unsung life. We all know Marvel, we all praise Stan Lee for his "incredible characters and stories", but what if all of this was a lie? What if there was another man behind the marvel? The powerhouse behind some of hollywoods famous characters, but you probably don't even know his name. This is the story of Jack Kirby.

We talk about the theme of the "Unsung Hero" A lot here at Latrell Today, and I must say this film illustrated that idea well. I truly do feel for Jack and if the film can do that I say it was a success. The main flaw how ever is the films lack of polish. There are a couple of rather amateur edits in this film that we're especially noticeable at the film's premiere. Over all a solid entry in the Shazam Pictures catalogue. 88/100

A well done short by a promising new face. I thoroughly enjoyed the costumes, lighting, writing and scenery. A young Jack Kirby was portrayed by new actor Jaden Nicita. He conveyed the passionate and frustrating career Jack suffered under the tutelage of
Stan Lee. It was an illuminating betrayal of Jack that the general public was made aware of. I highly recommend seeing this. 91/100

The Unsung Jack Kirby made and produced by 42nd Studios, stars Jaden Nicita as Jack Kirby, going through the hardship for him that was working with Marvel. The attention to detail and choice of actors is what made this film very real, the editing was, a bit sub-par, but nothing more time cannot fix. What was most important here was the emotion, the raw, unknown, sadness that was Jack Kirby working at marvel: 91/100
